Signs From Deceased Loved Ones

Most people think they found me. They did a search, clicked a link, ended up here.

I'd push back on that a little.

After 15 years of doing this, I've come to believe that your loved ones pick the medium, not you. They know what you need. They know who can actually reach them. Your job is just to trust the instinct that brought you here.

That said, some people find me because they've been seeing things. A cardinal on the fence three days in a row. A song on the radio at exactly the wrong moment. Their mother's perfume in a room nobody's been in.

Most of them have been telling themselves it's a coincidence. Some of them have been telling themselves for years.

Here's what I know after 15 years: it's usually not.

The people we love don't just disappear. They don't always communicate in ways that make it onto a list of 'signs from deceased loved ones' on some website. But they do communicate. And the signs are almost always specific to the person you lost, not generic.

A few things I hear most often from clients:

Electrical things acting up: lights flickering, phones turning on, a TV clicking on at 3am. The timing is what makes it real.

Dreams that feel different. Not the grief dreams where you're searching for someone and can't find them. The ones where they're just there, calm, and you wake up feeling like something actually happened.

A physical sensation: pressure on the shoulder, warmth, the sense that someone just sat down next to you.

Finding things. Coins in strange places. Objects that move. Photos that fall off shelves.

If you've been experiencing something and you're not sure what to make of it, that's actually the most common thing I hear. Most people don't call it a sign. They call it 'something weird that keeps happening.'
